What Does Teaser Mean In Sports Betting?

Generally, teasers are limited to football and basketball, but some sportsbooks offer teasers on other sports as well. If you’re new to the betting world, the basic concept is simple: you’re taking a bet on two or more teams and combining them into one bet. The key is to make sure all the legs are in place. For example, if you’re placing a parlay of two teams, you’ll want to make sure the games are on the same day. If they aren’t, you’ll have to use a “no action” bet.

Teasers are similar to a parlay, but they have a few additional rules to keep in mind. For example, you can only have a teaser if both teams cover their spreads. If one team loses, the rest will be graded as a loss. Also, the more teams you put in a teaser, the more risk you’ll be taking. In other words, you’ll have a higher payout but a smaller chance of winning.
